Horses that escaped from their corral caused multiple car crashes in Isle of Wight County, Virginia on Wednesday evening according to WAVY.com.
About 20 horses escaped from a local farm causing four accidents in the Carrsville Highway area. Several motorists required hospitalization, but none of the injuries appeared life threatening. Seven of the horses were killed, but most of them were rounded up and returned to the farm.
State police say it is unclear how the horses broke loose from their pasture. No charges have been filed against the farm owners.
