A 17-year-old girl stuck and killed a man riding his bicycle in front for C.D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge, VA.

Joseph James Callahan Jr. of Woodbridge, Va was riding his bike on a sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl. After the vehicle struck Mr. Callahan, it jumped the curb and ran onto the sidewalk.

Mr. Callahan was dragged under the car until it came to a stop. Sadly, he died from his injuries.

According to NBCWashington, investigators are now trying to determine if the girl was texting while driving.
